Current Affairs

On this page we will try to answer your most frequent questions and inform you as well about the production process in our printing factory in Goor, The Netherlands.

One of these questions is about the difference between the shop in Amsterdam and our collection of Dutch chintzes with the same commercial name, Collection Den Haan & Wagenmakers.  Indeed rather confusing, but to keep a long and disappointing story short, we sold our shop activity in 2009 together with the right to use our commercial name, Den Haan & Wagenmakers BV. exclusively for the Amsterdam shop activities. However the production and the collection with the same commercial name were not sold and remained the property of Den Haan & Wagenmakers Beheer BV.

Since than the  collection original Dutch chintzes ” Den Haan & Wagenmakers ” Retail, is exclusively for sale on this web site  and also in some of the Museum shops in the Netherlands, see the addresses below. We do not sell our collection historical chintzes  “coll. Den Haan & Wagenmakers”  to the new owners of our former store in Amsterdam. Our collection is designed by Willem Rudolf den Haan and printed in Goor- The Netherlands. All comparable designs/ fabrics other than 150 cm/ 60 inch and without our collection name in the fabric edge are printed in Asia by other companies.

Open & demonstration days in our printing factory in Goor- The Netherlands
